I was listening to Queen the other day and this song got stuck in my head... funny how sometimes a song rings so true for certain times in a person's life:

I have found myself a future, I have a plan, and I want it all to start right now. I am not very patient sometimes, and I can't wait to start my career. I was told that I could leave in April for the Navy if I wanted to. Then I talked to my recruiter a couple days later and told her that I wouldn't mind leaving in April. She asked me if I would be okay with changing my job...not in the aviation field at all.  A little bit later in the day , I received a text saying that she had talked to my job counselor and he told her that he wouldn't feel right sending me earlier since I have such a great job lined up in May...and it isn't available in April. So, I am sticking with my May ship date. I am so excited to be working in the aviation field of the Navy, and will be interested in finding out what jobs I qualify for after Aircrew Candidate School.


So here's to sticking to my original plan! I have the time to work on PT and memorization, and I also have more time to spend with friends and family.
